Private-Pay 

This is a private-pay practice. Payment is due at the time of service. I do not bill insurance.

Some patients choose private-pay care because it offers greater flexibility. It allows treatment that I provide to be guided by your needs rather than insurance requirements.  As well, private-pay limits the sharing of personal health information with third-party payers, such as insurance companies.

Superbills for Reimbursement 

If your insurance plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, I can provide a detailed “superbill” that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Because every insurance plan differs, patients are encouraged to contact their insurance company to determine their specific benefits.
